INVESTING IN BODYWORK IS AN
INVESTMENT IN YOUR HEALTH
A session will consist of mind-body integration, using a combination of dialogue, structural integration intuition and energy medicine. The following bodywork modalities are but a few of the techniques incorporated.
Polarity Therapy
Polarity Therapy blends the wisdom of the East; Ayurveda, which is the ancient Science of Life from India, with Quantum Physics and CranioSacral therapy to understand the body as energy. The underlying concept of PolarityTherapy is that all energy within the human body is based in electromagnetic force and that disease results from improperly dissipated energy.
Using a comprehensive system of hands-on bodywork, open dialogue, movement, breath and nutritional guidance to restore and realign ones own innate healing resonance, Polarity Therapy unblocks and recharges the flow of Life Energy and realigns unbalanced energy as a means of eliminating disease. All the while enhancing vitality and clearing trauma from the cellular memory of the body.
Clients learn to release tension by addressing the source of the stress, and by maintaining a healthy demeanor accordingly. This treatment may be effective to promote health and healing to anyone willing to embrace the appropriate lifestyle.
Polarity, at its heart, is a set of principles about flow of energy to bring body, mind, emotions and spirit, into a state of balance, harmony and robust health.
CranioSacral Therapy
Few structures have as much influence over the body’s ability to function properly as the brain and spinal cord that make up the central nervous system. And, the central nervous system is heavily influenced by the Craniosacral system – the membranes and fluid that surround, protect and nourish the brain and spinal cord.
Every day your body endures stresses and strains that it must work to compensate for. Unfortunately, these changes often cause body tissues to tighten and distort the Craniosacral system. These distortions can then cause tension to form around the brain and spinal cord resulting in restrictions. This can create a barrier to the healthy performance of the central nervous system, and potentially every other system it interacts with.
Fortunately, such restrictions can be detected and corrected using simple methods of touch. With a light touch, the CST practitioner uses his or her hands to evaluate the craniosacral system by gently feeling various locations of the body to test for the ease of motion and rhythm of the cerebrospinal fluid pulsing around the brain and spinal cord.
Soft-touch techniques are then used to release restrictions in any tissues influencing the Craniosacral system. By normalizing the environment around the brain and spinal cord and enhancing the body’s ability to self-correct, CranioSacral Therapy is able to alleviate a wide variety of dysfunctions, from chronic pain and sports injuries to stroke, neurological impairment as well as physiological issues manifested from emotional trauma. What conditions does CranioSacral Therapy address?
Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that cleanses and balances the energy patterns in the body. As a result, the body’s natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum mental, emotional, and physical health.
During a session, an energetic connection is made with the client in order to remove blockages, detoxify the energy system, and restore ones vital life force energy. The Reiki technique utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between client and practitioner. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.
Reflexology of the Elements
Reflexology of the Elements focuses on applying pressure to the specific zones in your feet that align with the five Principle Ayurvedic Elements, Ether, Air, Fire, Water, Earth, which flow throughout the body. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, Reflexology of the Elements is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into the feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, depression, constipation, and more.
Medical Massage differs from regular Massage and Bodywork in that the treatment is specifically directed to resolve conditions diagnosed by a medical doctor. I may use a variety of modalities or techniques during the treatment, but I focus the treatment only on the specific areas of the body related to the diagnosis. This enhances the body’s natural self-healing process and reduces the needed recovery time from injury.

Cancellation Policy
It is understood that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. With the desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. In compassion, a client's first time cancellation with less than 24 hours advance notice will be excused as a courtesy to the client. However, if there is a second occurrence of cancellation with less than 24 hours' notice, this will be considered a discourtesy to the therapist and you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
No-shows
In good faith, consideration will be given to a first time no-show as a courtesy of understanding and compassion. However, anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment a second time for whatever reason, will be considered as having a lack of consideration to the therapist. A second “no-show" will be charged as a “missed” appointment and you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
